Chef Timothy Barbrey has always had a love for the food industry. He started at Koury Banquet Center which inspired him start culinary classes at GTCC. He then spent 5 ½ years with his mentor Steve Snyder of Marisol’s before opening Timothy’s in Asheboro, North Carolina. Currently, Tim and his wife Samantha have partnered with Mary and Will Ragsdale, owners of Perky’s Café. The transformation of a coffee/sandwich shop has taken place and now Perky’s Bistro is a full service Casual Fine Dining establishment featuring American cuisine with a French technique.
